T O P I C R E V I E WbvanzyWhat interests other than astrology do you have? And do they relate to your chart?I am interested in psychology, and graduated in it, and have a Moon/Pluto/Venus conjunction in the 8th house, as well as Mercury in the 8th.I am very spiritual/religious, I love travelling and other cultures and countries (as well as my own), and I'm very interested in politics and worldly affairs, and I have my chart ruler Jupiter in the 9th house.I love working out especially running - I have a Sagittarian Ascendant and a Leo Sun conjunct Mars. Of course, that correlation is dependent on fire signs being active and not lazy That's just a couple of things. What about other people here?augentierhow the mind and brain work, the interpersonal relationships we have wth each other, drugs, music and art in all its forms..dance, drawing, etc.., the pursuit of a higher self..travel, travel, travel, experience!i think a lot of this has to do with my Moon in Sag, Scorp ASC, Venus trine mars, Sun sextile Pluto, Sun conjunct Mercury, Uranus, and Neptune. Mars in Pisces, in my 5th ------------------Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moonMercury:: SagittariusVenus::ScorpioMars::Piscesblue moonWith Jupiter in Sag in the 1st house I am sporty and active. NOT!It is conjunct Neptune also in Sag, and Opposite Saturn. The Jupiter/Neptune Sag combo is the only fire on my chart. I am a lazy b@stard. BUT so far this year I have done a 22 mile sponsored walk for charity, and am off to climb Ben Nevis at the end of the month for another. I do fundraising mainly for the local children's hospice and cancer charities. I will get off my butt for that. Through it (and this was unintentional) I have met a lot of people. Saturn is in the 7th house. I have plenty of personal responsibility, but I am happy to get on with it as long as I have some intellectual and creative outlet in life. A pen and paper will do fine, and I never go anywhere without a book. Or in the words of my dad's friend (a farmer): all this reading and writing,so boring, you need to get outside and get a real hobby! On my chart: Mercury and Venus are hand-in-hand in my chart, in Taurus, Square Mars in the 3rd house. Mercury and Venus make midpoint aspects to the Jupiter and Neptune but I won't bore you with all the details. What interests me? History. People. People you would get from Venus on the Descedant and chart ruler Pluto CNJ Moon in the 10th. History, I don't know. Family history would be the 4th, I would think, nothing in there, but its ruler is Neptune, which is in the 1st house, see above. Maybe Pluto and the Moon also, digging around the past. marsconjunctmercuryI have a degree in psychology and i'm interested in astrology and philoshophy. I have 2 planets in Scorpio and 4 in Sagittarius, and the Moon in Leo.I love fitness too although i don't do any at the moment.Thanks.robyn.ctypical (apparently) of my sun sign Pisces, i like dance, theatre, spiritual /religious topics.my geminian sun partner is a builder but his hobby is making jewellery.havent really thought deeper. ive never been able to hold down a steady job, i have no earth in my chartamowlsFashion/Shopping (Venus in the 10th)Dance/Music (Venus in Pisces)Feminism (probably Aqua sun/merc, Venus sq Mars also Moon in Libra)Pop culture/history/sociology (Sun/Merc in 9th?)Dragoonlol @ blue moon.bvanzyIt's interesting how these things work out.Blue Moon quote:off to climb Ben Nevis at the end of the monthI'd call that pretty active. Especially if it's for charity. Are you from Scotland or travelling there for the climb?Got Gemini? My children (venus in cancer), Music (I'm not sure what astrologically points to this, I read about an aspect once but I can't find the link), Movies, my home, and Masonry (Venus in 11th).------------------Virgo Asc & MarsGemini SunLibra Moon (conjunct Pluto 0º in 2nd house)Gemini MercuryCancer VenusAnd yes, i'm a guy!GeminiLover75The Sagittarius rising things seem to come first: Spiritual development, academia, fitness (although I've had a few things preventing me from doing anything other than walking for the past year. I also have my chart ruler in Aries in fifth so I really enjoy a nice cardio workout), animals, learning about the natural world and different countries and cultures, writing.Scorpio moon: the energetic realm, 'how things work' - the human mind and the human body especially, observing and analysing human behaviour, dreams, psychic interests.Taurus sun: fashion, music, food.Venus in Gemini in the 6th house: health and healing, watching documentaries, talking online. I used to really like technology - computer programming, making websites, learning how to use whatever new thing, but now instead of really enjoying learning about technology I'm only interested in its immediate practical purpose. I'm not sure how or why I lost this particular interest! I think my Sun opposite Uranus is responsible for my interests in technology, but perhaps now I satisfy that part of myself by being more interested in unusual people.I also really like science - not sure whether this is a Sun opposite Uranus thing?xrâräxThe supernatural/occult stuff fascinates me (Mars and Saturn in Scorpio with Pluto in the IX) sun square pluto- mercury trine neptune. Mercury sextile pluto. The meaning of existence, the universe. Philosophy, politics. etc. Also enjoy travelling to beautiful/meaningful places(Libra cusp in the IX house) Moon Trine Jup And last but not least, I absolutely looove dancing- (Taurus Moon/Venus in Leo??)blue moonBvanzy ~ I'm travelling there for the climb. I live in the Midlands. My motivation is the charity ~ Marie Curie nurses. But I'm looking forward to the challenge. Sort of.But, er, don't hand me a prize ~ my dad is coming too and will be climbing the mountain. He is 67. He took us out walking a lot when we were kids. I think I probably have a core fitness level for walking because of it even though in reality I am a bit of a couch potato. One thing I never mentioned was music. I'd struggle without a tune. I haven't mentioned my family and I'll say why ~ a friend of mine was sent to therapy by her doctor. She struggled to think of anything she liked and enjoyed for herself that was nothing to do with her family in general and specificially her kids. So I took the question to mean what interests do you have that take you away from everything, and that maybe gives your life meaning aside from family or relationship roles. If you don't have anything or can't think of anything, you have a problem. In her case, severe depression, but she is getting through it now, the therapy was helpful. wheelsofcheeseI like making stuff (Jupiter in the 5th). I like archaeology (Mercury near the IC in Scorp). I like animals (Venus and Neptune in Sag).Kick ItMy interests are: Women, Food, Films, Football and Music.Moon/Venus/Neptune GT which covers most options. Mercury ruling 5th tied with Pluto to that GT, also ssx Jupiter.I don't really do TV.
